In the mist of the 2004 election, some people might stay at home after losing faith in the Ohio election process. Both of the 2006 Secretary of State candidates are making a point to show how they will change the system and allow for more accurate votes to be counted… after they are elected with the current system. Even still, other reports show an expected 54% turnout of voters, according to Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, who is currently running for Governor against Democrat Ted Strickland. So maybe (and hopefully), this lack of faith is completely inaccuracte. Full Story

We hope that those able to vote in Ohio will turn out and do their homework. Even if the Ohio voting process might have some kinks to be worked out, one cannot let that detour them from voting all together. Ohio officials will have done as much as they can to ensure the proper count of all the votes.
